On November 18, 2017, the New Orleans Chapter visited the seniors at Arthur Monday Senior Center in Algiers, LA. Chapter members gathered in the spirit of friendship and service to show love and appreciation to our city’s senior population during this holiday season. It was a full agenda of activities starting with prayer, exercise to old school soundtracks including Diana Ross’ “Who’s the Boss”, several games of BINGO where everyone was a winner, a full lunch, and a presentation of gift bags with lots of goodies including Audubon Zoo passes.
Link Nadine Ramsey closed the event with the distribution of turkeys to all of the seniors. Our goal was to simply show how much we treasure and value our seniors and shower them with the love they each deserve.
