On December 9th, members of the International Trends facet hosted a Christmas Social at Bethune School. Fifty of the school’s Young Ladies of Destiny participated in the event. During the social, students participated in a Christmas art competition and games that introduced Christmas traditions and ideas from around the world. Prizes were given to the winning art team, as well as, winners of the other games. Each Lady of Destiny received a goodie bag with Christmas candies, treats, and a journal. The chapter gave a copy of President Obama’s Of Thee I Sing as a door prize, and donated a second copy of the book to the Bethune School library.
