The New Orleans (LA) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated is proud to have been one of the many sponsors of Together! Stronger! Better! The week of events, which convened jobseekers, employers, education/training providers, nonprofit and philanthropic organizations at Kingsley House, focused on strategic and solution-oriented discussions on issues impacting today’s workforce. The week began with job readiness sessions for families in the Kingsley House network. The following day, local subject matter experts discussed a variety of employment related issues and necessary action for moving New Orleanians forward. The closing luncheon featured Norman Barnum, Interim CEO of the New Orleans Business Alliance (NOLABA), and Ava Cates, Secretary of the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
