Thanksgiving is the time of year when we show gratitude for our many blessings. It is also the perfect time to pay those blessings forward.
This year, The New Orleans (LA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, partnering with the English Turn Property Owners Association, have collaborated on a Trunks-Giving for 2021. We can pay those blessings forward by supporting our non-profits on Saturday, November 20 from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the English Turn Parking Lot.
Trunks-giving will benefit 5 non-profits that have been uplifting the Greater New Orleans Community for over 125 years – Family Violence Program – www.fvpsb.org, Kingsley House- www.kingsleyhouse.org, Nurse Nikki- www.nursenikkinp.com, Ozanam Inn- www.ozanaminn.org and Second Harvest Food Bank- www.shfblv.org. These non-profits provide much needed resources to those in need and with our help, they will be able to impact the lives of many more.
You can support one or all of these worthy organizations. Review the wishlists, package the items, and drop the package off without getting out of your vehicle. It’s that easy!
Together, this Thanksgiving we can make a difference in the lives of those in need.
