The New Orleans Cluster of The Links, Incorporated, in partnership with the Cobb Institute, hosted the the “Stay Well” Community Health Fair at L. B. Landry High School on January 29, 2022. Medical professionals, first responders, school and community leaders and students came together to shed light and learn about COVID-19 and get vaccinated.
Hundreds of vaccinations were administered and masks and COVID-19 test kits were distributed. A panel of medical professionals provided up-to-date information about COVID-19 and attendees had an opportunity to hear from individuals who were affected by COVID-19 early on during the pandemic. Other sponsors included the Louisiana Department of Health, the National Dental Association, and Ochsner Medical Center.
