The New Orleans Chapter Program Committee is busy this summer planning the upcoming program year activities. Taking time to celebrate ‘friendship’, however, is a must. In true Links fashion, our Vice President of Programs, Christine Guillory, hosted a wonderful evening event at Simplee Gourmet in downtown New Orleans. Members were treated to a gourmet, hands-on, cooking class with a menu of grilled peaches with arugula and honey basil vinaigrette, lemon herb risotto with roasted chicken breasts and profitteroles with chocolate sauce. The food was scrumptious and, importantly, we savored the embrace of friendship.
