The New Orleans (LA) Chapter of The Links Incorporated successfully registered over 200 of first time voters from four area high schools in Algiers. The Chapter was honored to assist those students in the early voting process. On November 8, the Chapter arranged transporation for the students to the historic Algiers Courthouse. Once there, the students were introduced to the voting Commissioners, were instructed on the process of voting and, for the very first time, voted.
What an exciting and important moment for them and the New Orleans Chapter.
