Having adequate food is one of life’s most basics needs. And in heeding the words of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., for anyone to go without when resources are abound is a matter that we cannot let go unaddressed.
On Monday, January 18, 2021, the nation will pause to reflect on and celebrate Dr. King’s legacy. While our organization has always honored Martin Luther King Jr. Day with service by our members, this historic year The Links, Incorporated is proud to have accepted an invitation to participate in this year’s National Day of Service for the Inauguration of President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris.
We will unite to address the growing need for food among the most vulnerable in our communities and host a food drive.
