Louisiana Links members gathered at the state capitol in Baton Rouge on April 23, 2023 for Louisiana Links Day at the Capitol. It was a day to educate and advocate with legislators on issues of particular concern to our organization – breast health, human trafficking, and the foster care system.
The annual legislative conference was established during the tenure of the 16th Southern Area Director, Margaret Johnson, as a means for sharpening lenses of legislative issues and public affairs.
