Each year, members of the legal community around the country work together to advance public education about the constitutional values that define and shape our great nation. The 2017 theme was, “The Fourteenth Amendment: Transforming American Democracy.“
On May 12, the National Trends and Services facet of the New Orleans (LA) Chapter celebrated Law Day with the students of Bethune Elementary School. The students re-enacted the trial of The State of Louisiana vs. Frank N. Stein. Additionally, the students had an opportunity to discuss legal issues of the day and tour the new Juvenile Justice complex.
