New Chapter Members addressing the personal care needs of women and girls

The New Orleans Chapter was extremely proud of its newest members’ community service project. Titled 12 Days of Giving – Support Our Sisters, the nine new members sought to address the lesser known problem of lack of feminine hygiene education and products in underserved communities. It is often the case where young women have to choose between their next meal and purchasing personal hygiene products – a choice no one should have to make.

Working with Bloom Maternal Health and Nurse Nikki, the members were successful in getting community support and donating much needed feminine hygiene products to Kingsley House and Covenant House.

We congratulate new members: Tamara Armour, Kendra Barrier, Lacy Davillier, Deborah Grimes, Krystal Henry, Lana Joseph-Ford, Jessica Judson, Susan McCleskey and Andrea Thomas-Reynolds.
