The New Orleans Links’ First White Rose Award

The White Rose Award is bestowed upon a Links member who has gone above and beyond to foster friendship and engage members in chapter activities that highlight our commitment to the Links organization and each other. The recipient of the award epitomizes grace and strength and is a positive role model.

The New Orleans (LA) Chapter bestowed our first White Rose Award, posthumously, on Angelique Aristelle Reed. Angelique was a member in the New Orleans Chapter for over 30 years at the time of her untimely passing in November 2019. She was dedicated to the chapter and The Links, Incorporated. She held positions of leadership and worked hard to serve the New Orleans community.

Her passion, however, was bringing members together in friendship. Her ideas were fresh and fun and she just had that special signature “Ange” touch that made us all smile.

We are honored to salute Angelique Aristelle Reed. She will always have a special place in our hearts.

Angelique’s sister, and also a New Orleans (LA) Chapter member, Meredith Reed, accepted the White Rose Award at the Chapter’s annual Holiday Brunch.
