March 10 is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NWGHAAD), a day to raise awareness about the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and girls. This year’s theme, The Best Defense Is a Good Offense, encourages women and girls to take effective steps to protect themselves and others from HIV.
Regardless of the type of relationship you are in, HIV prevention is key. Love yourself and put your best defense into play. Learn how.
Here are a few things you can do to acknowledge NWGHAAD:
• Learn the basics.
• Get tested.
• Start a conversation.
• Get involved.
Protect yourself and others from HIV.
